Edna was one of these people who come into your life and you never forget. I worked with Edna at the Gilbert Plains PCH where Edna's priority was the elderly that lived there. She always treated the elderly with respect and made sure her coworkers did also. Unfortunately Edna and I developed a bond when she lost her son Shane in an accident, I had also lost my son. Rest in peace wonderful lady. - Posted by: Joan Gryba (Friend and co-worker) on: Sep 05, 2019

Edna was truly a beautiful person inside and out. Her caring and compassion for others was evident in all she did whether it was hold a hand, listen to an elders story or help one of her residents eat their meal. She always had time to care, truly care. I was a young nurse when I began working with her in long term care and I learned so much from her. Just watching how she treated others and the caring way in which she did everything made our PCH truly a home to all those residing there. It made all those that worked with her uphold a high standard of care not ever to be forgotten. My friend you will never be forgotten, the shoulder you offered, the tears you made fade with laughter and making us all accountable for our path in life. May you fly high with those angels and find the peace you so deserve. - Posted by: Angela Kotyk (Friend/ Colleague ) on: Sep 04, 2019
