Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • I just saw this today. I am sad to read this—my condolences to his family and friends. I guess it has been 2 yrs today. I have known Peter since we were 6. Pete and I grew up playing hockey and soccer together at Pirates CC in Transcona. We were both so competitive. Peter was just a really, really nice guy. We lost touch through the years, and we shouldn't have. I moved away for years. I wish I could've seen you and rekindled our friendship. One day I will. Peter was an exceptionally talented athlete. Superfast. Excellent teammate and a good friend. Darren Olsen - Posted by: darren Olsen (friend) on: Sep 02, 2021

  • Kathy, so sorry for your loss. Just heard the news from mom today. So sad to hear the fastest man on two legs I ever knew, is now with his maker. Will always remember Peter taking me under his wing on my first day at my new High School at St. B. Was always a kind and gentle soul as I remember. My condolences. - Posted by: Walter Choptain (School Friend) on: Sep 14, 2019

  • Kathy, I am so sorry for your loss, I think back to the days we had together as kids and it is a hardship to loose Peter at such a young age, I will truley miss him. I was not close to him in the end, but I think back to the good old days and the time we spent together and I feel very sad that I didnt spend more time with him while he was here, I feel I missed out.
