My Dad taught me that the value in life wasn’t measured by money, but by love and and trust. When we didn’t have money that never seemed to matter, a day in the country. Dad, Mom, 6 kids, a loaf of bread and cucumbers or tomatoes. In those days, it was like a dine and dash, but it was legal. Sunday car rides when possible, A&W, baby burgers and the traditional orange ball. One day we went to a gas station and they were giving red plastic kid size fire hats. He managed to get six. If there was a bargain to be had, he was the master. He was a good example, taught us how to deal with things, but most of all he was my Dad, and I love him, and I will miss him forever and a day, Love you Dad, Rest In Paradise. You, my grandpa were an amazing being. You were an awesome grandpa and I will forever keep our loads of amazing memories in my heart. Fish lips by far was the best one!!! I’m in shock as I thought we had more time with you. I’m jealous you’re with my mom. But happy you’re with everyone we've lost. Till we meet again. Rest easy Gramps... xoxoxo - Posted by: Brandy (Granddaughter) on: Sep 07, 2019
