GERTRUDE KAMCHEN
1928 - 2019

Peacefully, at home on September 5, Gertrude, our beloved mother, Oma and great-grandmother, left us to be with her cherished Willi, who predeceased her in 2003.
Gertrude and Willi had built a wonderful life together in Canada. Family and friends were their greatest joy.
She will be forever loved by her daughters and their families, Magdalena (son John), Irene, and Rosemary (husband Raymond, sons, Daniel and Bentley). Earlier this year Bentley and wife Alicia blessed Gertrude with a great-granddaughter Vivienne Rose.
Cremation has taken place with a private family interment at a later date.
In her memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

  • Liebe Familie in Canada, wir möchten Euch unser aufrichtiges Mitgefühl versichern. Wir werden unsere Tante Traude immer als einen herzlichen wunderbaren Menschen in Erinnerung behalten. Danke sage ich für schönen gemeinsamen Stunden, die ich mit meiner Mutter bei Traude und Willi verbringen konnte.   • I'm sorry to hear of Gertrude's passing. Gertrude and Bill were good friends with my mom and dad. I remember them building cabins in the Belair area and finally building their home in Balsam Bay.
