CARMEN HUNTING
1922 - 2019
Following the war Carmen married her childhood sweetheart, Jack (John Henry Broley) Hunting. Together they shared 64 happy years of marriage.
Lovingly remembered by daughter Sharon (Michael) Moffatt, daughter Susan (Bob) White, son John (Leanne Dyer) Hunting; an adoring Grammie to Julian (Teri), Adrian and Dana (Hayley) Moffatt and to Alex (Jessica), Maerin (Evangelos) and Annie (Simon) Hunting; and great-grandchildren, Kyleigh, Katelin, Elizabeth, Hannah, Violet Moffatt, and Henry Hunting. Carmen was also a beloved aunt to Barbara, Louise, and Frances Holubek, and to Lesley, Vivian and Ellen White.
In their retirement, Carmen and Jack moved to their new home on King's Road, Martintown, Ontario. There they spent over 35 terrific years. Inspired by the vibrant surrounding community, they were active members of many activities. Carmen always cherished her friendship with Rosemary and Bob Gray and the rest of the "road gang".
In her final years, Carmen moved to Winnipeg, where she was cared for lovingly by her entire family.
Many thanks to the caring staff at Oakview Place, who helped look after Carmen in her final months.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or a charity of your choice.
A family memorial and interment of ashes will be held at a later date in Williamstown, Ontario.
