WILLIAM JEFFERY HOLMES
December 26, 1950 - September 11, 2019

It is with saddened hearts we announce the sudden passing of our husband, brother, uncle and nephew of Winnipeg, MB.
Jeff is survived by his wife Jo-Anne Olson; siblings, John Wade Holmes, Pat (Ted) Sawatzky, Karen (Zyg) Iskierski, Kim (Tom) Booth, Malcolm (Anja) Holmes and Teresa (Blake) Morden; stepsiblings, Evelyn Lebel, Florence Borsos and Robert Carriere; Uncle Grant (Evelyn) Guy; sister-in-law Carole (Steve) Ross; brother-in-law Randy Olson, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother Charlotte Verla McEwan and his father John Holmes.
Jeff's work life included employment most recently with Sobeys, as a Pharmacy Technician until his retirement in 2016, and previously with Orkin PCO and as a journeyman painter.
Jeff was a kind-hearted person who loved his pet dogs, cats, and bird. He was an avid video gamer and, like his mom, loved gardening. His gentle soul will always be remembered for his strength in facing life's obstacles with bravery, courage and unyielding conviction.
A private Celebration of Life and interment will be held at St. Jude's in Grand Marais, MB.
