CAROL WYNNE BERNSTEN
June 15, 1936 - September 11, 2019
Carol, the youngest of two children was born on June 15, 1936 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Benjamin and Anne Gibson.
Carol was married to Allen Bernsten in 1971, Allen loved Carol deeply and described her as the "wind beneath his wings". She was mother to four sons and was predeceased by her eldest son Remy.
From early on in life Carol was a very spiritual person and she dedicated her life to God alongside Allen in 1972.
She lived up to her dedication by her love for and careful study of the Bible which she joyfully shared with everyone she could. Her loving and kind nature drew people to her, enabling her to share precious bible truths. Carol helped many to understand the answers to life's biggest questions such as why God allows suffering and what happens to us when we die?
Carol was a loving and caring person which was evidenced by the many hours she spent volunteering and assisting ones with physical or mental impairments. She was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, always thinking of others first.
Surviving to cherish her loving memory are her husband Allen, her brother Dale, her three children, six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, a beautiful host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and an amazing group of close friends.
Carol will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her, and to know her was to love her.
A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5503 Park Drive in 100 Mile House, BC on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.

This is such sad news....a shock. I (Rob) remember Carol (and you too Al!!!) like it was yesterday. So happy serving Jehovah and always smiling and ready to do the right thing at the right time. I remember many years back, my dad, Cecil having Carol do a demonstration on the service meeting for one of his parts.....a very spiritual sister! Thankfully, this rest will be short...a nap, if you will. Jehovah remembers his faithful servants and will awaken all such ones soon as we unitedly bring this earth back to paradise. In the meantime, may you all be comforted by many precious memories and the endless ones to be made in the future.
