March 4, 1931 - September 13, 2019
He leaves his wife of 31 years, Yolande; his four children: Leanne Reinheimer (Lance), DeeDee Derkson, Leslee Trudeau (Ben), Wade Derkson (Shauna Martin), and their mother Donna Hunchak; Yolande's four children: Annette Gibson (Bob), Sharron Prud'homme (Kurt), Sheila Mercer (Bert) and Neil LaBossiere (Priscilla), 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one sister Leona Biden.
A celebration of his life will be held at Desjardins Funeral Home, 357 DesMeurons St., at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20.

Grandpa will always have a special place in my heart. I will miss our cribbage battles (which I never won), learning about curling watching it beside him, and his scrambled eggs that I still try to replicate but they never taste the same. My children will miss his pockets full of green candies that were always sure to be empty when we would say goodbye, and the impromptu songs on the harmonica.
