Douglas passed away on Wednesday August 28, 2019, at 86 years of age.
In accordance with his wishes, a private family funeral has been arranged.

Carolyn and I would like to offer our heartfelt condolences to Doug's family. I had the extreme pleasure of working alongside Doug at Carte Electric (as it was then known) for many years. When I started there as a young engineer, Doug was the company's V.P. of Sales. Doug had a fantastic sense of humour and was the "master of the limerick". He seemed to have memorized hundreds of them, and inevitably he would leave me in stitches. To this day I remember some of the pearls of wisdom that Doug shared with me as a neophyte engineer and I am grateful for his tutelage over the years. Doug's business style endeared him to the sales staff who reported to him, who universally had the greatest respect and admiration for him. God's blessing, DHR! Jamie - Posted by: James G.
