JASON LARRY DUPONT
Jason leaves behind his loving father Larry Dupont (Marilyn); brothers and sisters, Jeremy (Ashley), Brittany (Kale), Jason Leeson (Karen), Corey Leeson (Kerri); Aunt Pauline Dupont, grandfather Alphonse and many aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. Jennifer Durand, and other siblings, Christine and Christopher Gillespie.
Jason is predeceased by his grandparents, Isabelle Dupont, Celine Meisner, and Gerry Durand.
A young life taken away far too soon from those who loved him and will forever mourn his passing. He meant so much to so many. His life on Earth was far too short but Jason lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.
We know Jason is now with his Memere, Isabelle Dupont. They loved each other so much and now they're in heaven together.
Jason bravely faced many challenges daily but still managed to be the most wonderful, caring and loving person. We'll always miss his special sense of humour, friendliness and his beautiful smile. Jason had a great love for rock and heavy metal music that gave him great joy and comfort.
The family would like to thank Paola Dubiel and the staff at the McEwan Centre for the care and support extended to Jason over many years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Schizophrenia Society of Manitoba.

I will forever miss and love you buddy. You were loved dearly and Reign couldn't have asked for a better person to let him stack and build towers with your CD's. - Posted by: Cassandra McIntosh (Family Friend) on: Sep 26, 2019

Jason was my friend and neighbour. We lived right across the hall from each other. He was the most soft hearted person anyone could know. Whether it's running into each other at Safeway, at the front door or in the hallway of our apartment block he would always stop to say hello and ask you how you are doing. Many times he would just knock on my door just to say hello to "Spike' the cat. I will miss you Jason. It won't be the same in the hallways without you bud. "Spike" says 'hello". - Posted by: Kelly Wilwand (Friend and neighbour) on: Sep 21, 2019
My husband and I both knew Jason when we were young teenagers as we grew up in the same neighbourhood. We just spent the last hour reminiscing about Jason. I remember a group of us often getting together and listening to music; Aerosmith's Greatest Hits was one of his favourite albums. Jason was very kind to me and always had a friendly smile to give. He was soft-spoken and I remember him fondly. My heart goes out to his family and friends with my sincere condolences. Jason, I hope you have found peace. - Posted by: Maddie Laberge (Friend) on: Sep 21, 2019
I am truly shocked and saddened by the news of Jason’s passing. From our days at Glenwood school to this past summer, every time we would see each other it was like no time had passed. He was an amazing, loving friend. My condolences to his family. Rest In Peace my friend. - Posted by: Desmond Clarke (Elementary school friend) on: Sep 21, 2019
