Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Dear Scott, Ted and John; We're thinking of you at this sad time and praying that each of you will find comfort and strength in the many happy memories that you have of your dear mom and in knowing she is at peace with her Lord and is now with dear Uncle Jack. The wonderful memories of time spent with her really do give us comfort in these days following the loss of our dear Auntie Joan. She had a way of making each of us feel so special. She was always so upbeat and was truly a pleasure to be with. Her sense of humor will never be forgotten - she could always make us laugh! As children, we so looked forward to going to Auntie Joan and Uncle Jack's to visit them and spend time with you boys. In those days it was comparable to a trip to Disneyland for us - oh those were the days! Auntie Joan absolutely adored you boys and your families! She often talked about each of you and was so proud and thankful for all you accomplished in your lives and for all you did for her. We will miss her dearly! God bless you all! • It is hard to believe that my dear friend isn't with us anymore. But I am comforted that she is with her Lord in Heaven and with dear Jack. I met Joan when we worked together at Eaton's Mail Order and we have been friends ever since. I have so many special memories of Joan in the many years we shared together as friends. One special memory was how she always made me happy - no matter what the circumstances were in our lives at any given time. She was always happy and was so much fun to be with. She was so very proud of her boys and loved each of you so much. She always talked about how good you were to her and about all the special things each of you did for her. I know you boys will miss her dearly. Although we haven't visited in the last few years Joan was on my mind a lot and I had hoped I would still visit her. I will miss my dear friend greatly - I love her so much! God bless you boys, Love Joan - Posted by: Joan Popp (Friend) on: Oct 22, 2019
