Condolences & Memories (4 entries)
I will always remember this fine gentleman with fondness, respect and admiration. I worked under Fred in the 70's. His kind compassionate disposition influenced me in later years when I became a part of management. Until we meet again my dear friend. - Posted by: Linden Johnson (friend) on: Apr 14, 2020
I've known Fred since we moved in next door on Oxford Street 1994. Fred, and his family were wonderful neighbours. Fred was a very kind, thoughtful, lovely man, and we missed him when he moved to Brandon, to Jeannie. It was always great to visit both in Winnipeg and in Brandon. It was sad to see him suffering in the Victoria Hospital and ultimately in Tuxedo Villa. I am thankful to have visited with him and Jeannie before my move to BC early July. It is a blessing to have known this wonderful person. - Posted by: Pauline Steinberg (Old neighbour and friend) on: Sep 26, 2019

I grew up on the same street as “Freddie” and am a few years younger. Also know wife Jeannie since we were in the same school from Grade 1 together. I was in Winnipeg in July and got to see Fred where he was staying. He was a special person. I am happy that son Bill got Fred and Jeannie back to the Winnipeg area. Sorry I cannot be there Friday.
