ROBERTA (LESLI) DORSET
Lesli leaves behind her partner Bob, her daughters, Kara (Chris) and Allison (Clint), her stepson KJ, grandsons, Brayden and Nate, her sister Kelly (Andre), and nephews, Ross (Kelley) and Scott (Sarah), as well as many cousins and close friends.
Lesli loved spending time with her family and friends and especially adored her grandsons. She enjoyed entertaining and socializing with friends and neighbours. In her spare time, Lesli was an avid baker always trying new recipes for baked goods and Sunday dinners. Lesli also took pride in her yard where she could be found tending to her flowers. Christmas was Lesli's favourite time of the year, which was proven by her meticulously decorated Christmas tree and tremendous generosity. Lesli loved hosting Christmas dinner and always made sure there was a spot at the table for anybody who needed one.
Lesli spent the majority of her career with the Royal Bank of Canada where she began as a Customer Service Representative and retired as Branch Manager. Lesli was fortunate to retire early and explore her love for travel. Lesli and Bob enjoyed many tropical winter getaways together.
Lesli's family would like to sincerely thank the Cardiac Sciences team at St. Boniface Hospital, the staff of Intensive Care and 3 North at Grace General Hospital for their exemplary care and compassion.
As per Lesli's wishes, a private family service will be held in her honour. A Celebration of Life will be held at Rae & Jerry's on October 5 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

To Kara, Allison, Bob and all the family, Keri just told me about your mother passing, I was so shocked, as I am sure you all are, your mom was a organized, independent, and strong lady. I knew her from Morse Place junior high, when we were kids and met up with her at a ringette game, and the bank, and doing her hair, and then she retired, had met Bob, loved you girls so much, and her life moved on, and she was very happy, she will be missed so much, but I do know she was proud of her family, my heart is so sad, but if you hear a bell ring your mom has got her wings and she is one of God’s children now, take care of each other. So sorry for your loss - Posted by: Linda cress (Friend) on: Dec 01, 2019

Lesli and I worked together at RBC. We were known to dress up as cleaning women Carol Burnett style and serenade the staff. It was always fun when Lesli was around. I will always have great memories of time spent together! I hope you get to hang out with my Ralph who proceeded you to your heavenly home by five weeks. I am certain you will have some laughs together. Rest well my friend. Thinking about Bob and your family at this sad time. - Posted by: Linda Dubé (Friend and Co-worker) on: Nov 26, 2019
