DOROTHY EILEEN MCCALL
(nee SWAN)
Dorothy was with us for 98 years and was loved by everyone. She spent many years in Winnipeg then immigrated to the United States, finally ending up in San Diego, where she met and married Carlos McCall. Dorothy spent many hours sewing clothes and redesigning old patterns with her sister Eleanor. She worked with Carlos in some Little Theater projects. Dorothy spent time helping with McCall annual reunions. She worked at the local library and generally kept busy. Dorothy was not comfortable being idle.
Dorothy is survived by nieces and nephews, Shirley MacLean, Douglas Bennett (Marlene), Beverley Campbell, Kenneth Swan (Sandra), Danna Doepker, Dianne Blewett (John), Janet Fletcher (Gerry), Calvin Swan and many grandnieces and grandnephews; stepsons: Robin McCall (Fleur) and grandchildren, Daniel and Brian; Robert McCall and grandchildren, Robert and John, and great-grandchildren.
Dorothy will be interred with her husband Carlos in Rosecrans National Cemetery, in San Diego.
