CHERYL THOBABEN

Bright lover of life, friends and family, Cheryl Lynne Thobaben (Taylor) passed away too soon, at the age of 70, on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.
Cheryl was a perpetual optimist, who will be remembered for her smile and laughter. She had a great love of golf, nothing made her happier than being out on the course with her friends.
Before her retirement, she felt very valued in her work and proud to assist the Vascular Surgeons at Health Sciences Centre and St. Boniface Hospital.
We would like to thank CancerCare Manitoba, Wheels of Hope, and the incredible caregivers at Grace Hospital and Health Science Centre for getting her through this challenging past year.
We are so grateful her beautiful soul was ours to love, she will be deeply missed by so many.
A celebration of her life is planned for 3:00 p.m., Monday, October 21, 2019 at Breezy Bend Country Club, 7620 Roblin Blvd., Headingley, Manitoba.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to CancerCare Manitoba.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • We are shocked and so sorry to hear of Cheryl passing away. It was way too soon. We have wonderful memories of the fun we had when we all lived on Betsworth. Cheryl was the youngest of the bunch and full of fun. We all had young children and none of us rolling in dough. That was a wonderful time for all of us and Cheryl was a big part of that. We are happy to know she did so much golfing, we know how much she loved it. It is very sad to lose someone as special as Cheryl and Roger and I offer our sincere Condolences. We are too far away to attend the celebration of her life but will be remembering her with good thoughts. - Posted by: Sue and Roger Collard (Old friends) on: Oct 01, 2019
