My sincerest condolences to Bob and family. I was seriously shocked when I found out about her passing. She was a mentor to me when I started teaching and I called her a friend. I remember our talks about books and traveling. She will always have a place in my heart. - Posted by: Rob Jacks (friend) on: Oct 05, 2019

I just heard about Louise’s passing. What a shock this was. My deepest sympathies to you Bob and family. Louise and I were teaching partners in the 90s. What a great lady she was. We had such a great time teaching together. She was a pleasure to work with, always bubbly, open minded, innovative, just a pure joy. - Posted by: Armand Sylvestre (Work partner ) on: Oct 04, 2019

Louise Culinary Explorer ‘I found this recipe that I thought I’d try.’ What she meant by ‘I’ Was the royal ‘we’. And she’d make it and serve up - fearlessly! Pasta au contraire – ribs - pies – roasted veg ‘Here’s something I found at the garden edge.’ ‘Oh. I’d like more of that, please…’ Louise…. As we licked our spoons And we danced our jigs. We never minded being her guinea pigs. - Posted by: Dan (friend, neighbour, brother by another mother) on: Sep 30, 2019

Louise was the person who you could always count on to make a contribution to the community. She would chop buckets and buckets of onions for the spring carnival, a job nobody else was anxious to do. But she was always there to help out whenever she was needed. She was a great neighbour and will be missed by Riverview community. - Posted by: Beverly Siek (Neighbour ) on: Sep 29, 2019

My deepest condolences go out to Louise's husband, Bob, and to her siblings: Adele, Maureen, and Lawrie. I will miss the presence of the truly lovable and kind person Louise was. - Posted by: Melva McLean (Friend) on: Sep 29, 2019
