To Pina, Rita and Rossano, we offer our deepest condolences. We are so sorry we did not know about your mom's passing sooner! I remember your mother as a strong and loving woman who was very generous with her time and talents. Comara Silla and Compare were a very important part of our family as we grew up after our father died and I know they were a source of emotional support for our mom. I will always remember, as a young child, looking forward to visits to your home, hanging out in the basement on Fairmont Road with the wood burning fireplace and drop-ins at the cottage in Sandy Hook. You were our "cousins" to replace those we never had here in Winnipeg. Comara always made the most delicious cakes and cookies. Their legacy and memory will carry on through your lives and those of your children. Wishing you peace, comfort and joy in knowing that your mother and father both had a great and positive impact on those around them. With love always, Maria and Jack - Posted by: Maria Abiusi (Friend) on: Apr 21, 2020
