Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Hilda was my supervisor for 20 years or so. She was a kind and caring individual with strong belief in her Christian faith. The world has lost a treasure. I am so thankful to have worked along side of this wonderful person. - Posted by: Annette Obsniuk (Co-Worker) on: Sep 21, 2020

  • Aunt Hilda was more like a sister than an aunt. She was a friend and mentor. She was always interested in what I was doing and cared about my family. She visited us in Abbotsford on a number of occasions. I have always appreciated her loving concern. - Posted by: Irene (Niece) on: Oct 05, 2019

  • Aunt Hilda always had a smile. Her attitude was positive. I recall a little poster in her home that said 'Its nice to be important, but its more important to be nice!' She was kind-hearted and volunteered many hours to help where there was a need. Growing up, we loved to spend time with Aunt Hilda and Aunt Anne. Those were times of fun. They made us feel good about ourselves. I looked up to Aunt Hilda as a strong Christian, devoted to God, to the church, to her family, and to the wider community. We will miss you Aunt Hilda. Love from Tom, Teresa, and family - Posted by: Tom Warkentin (Nephew) on: Oct 05, 2019

  • As one of the youngest nieces I spent a lot of time with my Aunt Hilda. She would take me to toy stores, went swimming in her apartment, and always out for pizza. An opportunity to spend two weeks with Aunt Anne and Aunt Hilda in Hawaii has given me many memories and laughs with the two of them. Thank you Aunt Hilda for being a big part of my life, you will be missed. - Posted by: Jodi (Niece ) on: Oct 04, 2019
