LINDA MARGARET BUCHOK
She was predeceased by her parents, Maria and Roman, and her sister-in-law Marsha (George).
Linda is survived by her siblings, Roman (Marie), George, Carmen (Jack) and Jim (Pam), 12 nieces and nephews, and six great-nieces and great-nephews.
Linda was born in McCreary, MB on November 7, 1955, as the family moved about rural Manitoba in the early years of her father's medical practice. Linda was the fourth of the five children.
Linda attended Tuxedo Shaftesbury High School and the University of Manitoba graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Art.
Linda was a talented painter, drawer and potter.
A gathering in Linda's honour will be held at 30 Birkenhead Ave., Winnipeg, Saturday, October 12 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The family welcomes Linda's friends to join us in remembering our sister.

I am so sorry to read of Linda's passing. I didn't know, as we had lost touch. I remember Linda as a very talented artist. She taught me how to paint acrylic on canvas. That goes back to the 80's! She was also very good at playing the guitar. We enjoyed good times at Victoria Beach, walking to Elk Island and swimming off the pier (except the one time when the water was low and Linda couldn't reach the ladder. "Send help!" she said. lol. We figured it out on our own.) I'm sorry I just found out, I would have attended the gathering to celebrate Linda's life.
