1931 - 2019
He joins his wife of 34 years, Florence Murash, and leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 21 years, Dorine (McQuarrie) Murash and her extensive family. Paul's daughter Kathy and son-in-law Réal Ross of Anola, his daughter Melanie and son-in-law Mark Vezey and grandsons, Jag and Finn of the Bay of Islands, New Zealand will miss him greatly.
Paul came from a farming background in Lowland, and grew up with four sisters and four brothers. He lived a rich and happy life that included his work as a meat cutter at Canada Packers and his own business, Paul's Custom Cutting at his home in Anola. He was a keen hunter and fisherman, small scale farmer, green thumb gardener, multi-talented and generous with his time. Deeply dedicated to his church and community Paul was a Sir Brother with the Knights of Columbus and served at church for many years.
He will be remembered by many for his unbeatable garlic sausage, smoked goldeye, and keen sense of humour. With Dorine, Paul enjoyed the best years of retirement, including building a new house in Anola, international travel, square and round dancing, and finally, new friends in their residence at Dugald Estates.
Divine liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, October 7 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church in Beausejour.

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)
My condolences to his family and friends. He was a very kind gentleman. My Dad was a longtime customer of his personal butcher shop. I remember his daughters and his wife helping out when the meat was being cut up. May he rest in peace. Take care Melanie and Kathy. - Posted by: Audra Rosentreter (Former schoolmate of Kathy and Melanie ) on: Oct 08, 2019
Thinking of the family who Paul leaves to morn the loss. Had the pleasure of knowing Paul most of my life. A gentleman always. A perfectionist in everything he did. A model of kindness Worthy of respect and admiration Quiet man with a wonderful soul In my selfish way I hope to have learned enough to be a good man from his example Rest In Peace Paul - Posted by: Joe and Charlene (Family friends ) on: Oct 06, 2019
Hello Melanie and Cathy, We heard about the passing of Uncle Paul from Janice. Laura and I wish to offer our deepest sympathy in the passing of your father. Laura never got to meet Paul but I have good memories from a long time ago on the farm. We are thinking of you and hope that you remember the good times with your dad.
