It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sheryl Lambert, at age 59, on October 4, 2019, with her husband by her side.
Our mom Sheryl was by far one of the strongest women you would have ever known. Life threw her far too many obstacles and challenges. She prevailed and defied the odds by raising her three children. From there her family grew and became stronger than ever as each new generation was born. Sheryl loved her family very much. She loved to spoil her grandkids with all sorts of treasures from the dollar store. She was very crafty and often got her children involved in craft projects.... and was a true birthday/Christmas decorator and always went all out with the party decorations.

Your life was a blessing, your memory
a treasure. You are loved beyond words
and missed beyond measure.

We love you Mom. We will miss you today
and forever. We hope you are now at rest, spending your time with Nanny and
Howard (family dog).

Each time we embrace a memory,
we meet again, with those we love...
for the heart never forgets.

To my wife; I will always love you and
I miss you my hunny bun. XOXO

She will be sadly missed by her husband and high school sweetheart of 37 years, Leonard Lambert; her three children, Lisa Hettrick (Bill), Gina Lambert-Wery (Brad), Trevor Lambert; and her four grandchildren, Liam, Caleb, Ciara and Elizabeth. She also leaves behind her sister Marlene Hiebert (Larry), and her brothers, Jerry and Robert Fontaine.
Sheryl was predeceased by Suzanne Proulx (aka Nanny), her parents, Dennis and Lucille Fontaine, and brother Roger Fontaine.
We invite family and friends to take a moment to join us in the celebration of Sheryl's life on October 11, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. in the hall at the St. Boniface Cathedral, 180 avenue de la Cathedrale, Winnipeg.

  • Len - I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it's hard. You have to accept, but you don't have to like it. I know. I've been there. And you've always been there for me whenever I needed a hand in my apartment. So be strong and remember the good times. Take care ... see you ... - Posted by: Annette Bonomo (friend) on: Oct 09, 2019
