ELAINE GELMON

It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Elaine Gelmon on October 3, 2019.
She was predeceased by her parents, Morris and Lillian Gelmon, and is survived by her aunts, uncle, cousins and many friends.
Funeral services were held on October 6 at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery.
Donations in Elaine's memory may be made to The Movement Centre of Manitoba, Multiple Sclerosis Program.

  • I was deeply saddened to hear of my dear friend’s passing. Lanny (Elaine) and I grew up together in Preeceville and remained close friends throughout the years. Lanny and I talked on the phone often, laughing and reminiscing about our wonderful childhood as close neighbors and best friends. Lanny had a wonderful sense of humor and was so very thoughtful, always asking about all my family members and our mutual friends. I will miss our long birthday phone calls and many chats.   • I worked with Elaine several years ago and found her to be the absolute professional. I was so sad to read about her sudden passing she was a tribute to social workers everywhere. She also had a great sense of humor.My sincere sympathy is extended to her family and her many many close friends.
