JULIETTE REIMER LANGABEER
(nee DESAUTELS)
January 26, 1922 - July 20, 2019

It is with great sorrow I announce my beautiful Mother's passing. She passed on a beautiful sunny July day at St. Boniface Hospital, with family by her side.
Mom was predeceased by her loving sisters, Louise, Agnes and Rita. She leaves her daughter Janet Thomas (Robert) of Toronto, three grandchildren: Krista Bogiatzis of Australia (George), Stephanie Coones of Ontario (Franz), Jeremy Coones of Toronto, along with four beautiful great-grandsons: Joshua and Benjamin Friars (Toronto), and Nicolas and Samuel Bogiatzis (Australia). The boys adored their great-grandmother. Also leaving behind, her son Ronald J. Reimer (Lise) of British Columbia.
Mom was a caring, loving, kind, generous and funny lady! She loved to speak French with her great-grandchildren and Andree.
Juliette's life was celebrated at Janet's home in the country, with a "High Tea" where everyone remembered her many trips.
She loved to reminisce about travels to Hong Kong, Australia, Paris and Italy and talked about it until her last day.
Thank you to my cousins, Bryan and Andree Toews for your kindness throughout.

Mother my beautiful Mother,
I will miss you forever. Janet.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I worked with Juliette at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital in Kingston, Ontario for a few years before she retired. We became good friends, and lasted for years after her retirement. Lost touch with her a few years ago when she did not respond to my letters and eventually my letters were returned. I am saddened to hear of her death, but not surprised. My condolences to Janet, whom I had the pleasure of meeting and to the rest of the family. Juliette was one great lady, and a wonderful friend. - Posted by: Daphne Choquette (Long time friend) on: May 12, 2020
