LAWRENCE GORDON PAUL
July 16, 1939 - October 13, 2019

Lorne passed away peacefully in the early morning on October 13, 2019.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his partner Maria; his daughters, Lynn (Ken), Coreen (Kevin) and Leanne; his grandchildren, Jeremy (Shandi), Thomas, Alysa and Silas; his great-grandson Snow; as well as his faithful friend Buster.
Dad was born in Shell Lake, SK and grew up in Manitoba where he learned to love farming. This showed every summer when he would share the many vegetables from his garden.
Dad was a hard worker. He retired after 42 years as a welder at Amsco. He could fix anything and he was always there to help if something needed to be fixed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Selkirk United Church, 202 McLean Avenue, Selkirk, MB.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children's Wish Foundation, 350 St. Mary Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3J2.

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • It’s with great sadness that I just learned of Uncle Lorne’s passing. It was just a short time ago he helped us find a campground in Selkirk. We took him out to dinner for his birthday and went on a tour of his town. Uncle Lorne sure loved his McDonald’s ice cream. He will always have a special place in my heart and will be sadly missed. Condolences to his daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchild RIP Uncle Lorne - Posted by: Diana Dangas (Niece ) on: Oct 20, 2019
