Ron will be deeply missed by his daughters; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; partners; brothers; aunt; uncles; nieces; nephews and many friends and colleagues.
He began his accomplished career in the building industry after graduating from Red River Community College in the 1960s working closely with numerous architects, engineers, developers, building professionals and many trades. Ron's broad range of skills in the industry kept him passionate about his work, he enjoyed the excitement, learning, construction and design challenges that each project brought to the table. He enjoyed the excitement, learning, construction and design challenges. Over his career the projects ranged from warehouses, commercial and residential buildings, renovations and new hotel construction in Winnipeg, Calgary and Grand Forks. His knowledge, discipline, ability to carry out demanding projects, his meticulous attention to detail and amazing work ethic were all a part of the valued and respected colleague, friend, businessman Ron was. He will be missed immensely but remembered in many ways.
A celebration of Ron's life will be held at South Calgary Funeral Centre, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate), on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. followed by internment and a continued celebration of life in Winnipeg summer 2020.
