She is survived by her sons, Wayne Paquin (Linda) of Winnipeg and Brian Paquin (Anne Powell) of Upper Hut, New Zealand; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren in Canada, the United States and New Zealand.
She was predeceased by husbands Albert Paquin and William Tuckwell; stepchildren, Juliette Stussi, Roland Paquin and Lorraine Savoie; and siblings, Jacob Janzen, Dick Janzen, John Janzen, Anne Schapansky, Helen Lee and Margaret Funk.
A lifelong resident of Manitoba, Agnes was born on July 15, 1922, in the farming community of Rosenfeld, Manitoba. As a young woman, she moved to Winnipeg for work where she met and married Albert Paquin. She assisted Albert with his mortgage and finance business while raising their sons. Agnes was a dedicated gardener and loved visiting and holding garage sales. She enjoyed crafting including macramé and paper tole. She liked to travel, particularly to visit family outside of Manitoba, and was able to until the last decade of her life.
Memorial service will take place at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., on Monday, October 28, 2019. at 2:00 p.m.
Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Ward 4AB of Actionmarguerite for their excellent care and to the staff of Catherine Place where Agnes resided previously.
