It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Irma, on Friday, October 25, 2019, following a brief illness at the age of 93 years.
Irma was predeceased by her husband, Helmut. Remaining to forever cherish Irma's memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Norman and Heather Matthes.
On Saturday, November 2, 2019, Irma's funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Boulevard, Winnipeg.
The family would like to send a special thanks to all those who assisted us with Irma's care, including home care, the ambulance attendants, the nurses, doctors and staff at the Grace Hospital, neighbours, friends, and family members.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Irma's memory to The Salvation Army, Room 203 - 290 Vaughan Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3B 2N8.
