GLORIA JEAN BLAZEIKO
(nee ZADOROZNY)
March 25, 1943 - October 24, 2019
Gloria was a registered nurse for over 37 years and was passionate about her career. A greater passion than nursing was her love for her children and grandchildren. Gloria was always supportive and encouraging to her children in everything they did and was always there for them when they needed someone to talk to or for advice. She took great pride and was very active in watching her grandson Zachary grow up and in all activities he was involved in. She also loved spending time with her young grandchildren, Ella and Emmitt who called her "gammie".
Gloria is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bernard, and her sons, Robert, Donald, Gordon with wife Leanne and their daughter Sadie, Michael with wife Sandra and their children, Ella and Emmitt, and daughters, Meredith with son Zachary, and Elizabeth.
Prayers will be held October 31, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street in Winnipeg.
Funeral will be held November 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Burrin Avenue in Winnipeg.

Sincere condolences to the Blazeiko Family on the loss of wife, mother and grandmother. A piece of history going back to the 1940's and '50's when we lived in Weston among the Ukranian community and our families were friends and neighbours. Gloria's father, Mike was my godfather and her mother, Mary, provided the flowers for our wedding reception in Winnipeg. Thinking of you at this time of sorrow. To Bern and Family; I know it has been quite some time since we met or talked. I will always be thankful for the manner in which you Bern and Gloria took Connie and myself under your wing when we first arrived in Winnipeg. Gloria Jean was very kind to take me in when Connie was out of town. She also will be remembered as Catherine's godmother. She also made the christening gown for Catherine. May the Good Lord Bless You and Keep You Bern and all your family in this time of mourning; May He let His Light Shine upon you all now and forever. Your friend Walter = Connie Noye. - Posted by: walter noye (friend) on: Oct 31, 2019
