CHARLES KITKOSKI

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Kitkoski. On Tuesday, October 22, 2019 he moved on from this life at the age of 89.
You may have known him as Charlie, Chuck, Carl, Red or Murphy, but this man with so many names was also a husband, dad, grandpa and papa.
Keeping his memories alive are Florence; Dean and Jeannie, Carla, Jeff, Fletcher and Clint; Cheri and Dan, Desiree and Kevin; Richie and Wendy, Will and Angela, Emmi and Dylan; and Raymond and Susan.
To everyone who remembers Charlie, we ask that you celebrate his life in your own way, raising a glass of your favourite drink in his memory.
Whenever I think of where you are now, I picture a bountiful garden or garage sale you've found,
And you're searching for bargains and tinkering to your heart's desire, starting new collections of antiques to admire,
Sharing all of your stories and jokes for new ears to hear, all of those memories we now hold so dear,
About your travels and the grainery you once lived in, and how proud you are of all your kids and grandchildren.
Whether you're dancing the polka or growing tomatoes in the sky, until we meet again, te amo, s'agapo, I love you, goodbye.

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Dear Flo & Family We are so sorry to hear of Charlie’s passing. Charlie always had gardening tips and stories to tell us over the fence. I’m sure he is growing his huge tomato plants in Heaven!! Thinking of you all at this sad time! Sharon & Shawn - Posted by: Sharon McLaughlin (Neighbours) on: Nov 06, 2019

  • Charles quickly became one of my favourite people at work...I remember the day we went for a walk and got slurpees and popcorn ...and all the days he sat out front watching the people go by. I brought him my pickled beets and that sealed the deal for him! He always brought a smile to my face! - Posted by: Victoria (Past manager at MP) on: Nov 02, 2019

  • I will always have special memories of Charlie. He made me laugh every time I saw him. We shared so many common interests and especially antiques, travel and deals. I will never forget the day he stuck his finger in a lamp socket on purpose. I knew he was ill and it was so strange that the day he died I was telling that story to a bunch of business colleagues to a round of laughter. I will always remember our time together. I will miss him. - Posted by: Clinton Beck (It’s complicated... lol Grandfather ) on: Nov 02, 2019
