Cathie, please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss your brother. I am sorry that I didn't reach out to your Dad at the time but wasn't aware of Gord's passing until I found your Dad's obituary. I have fond memories of the times Gord and you visited my Mom and Dad. Mildred - Posted by: Millie Diller (second cousin) on: Nov 15, 2020

I am sorry to hear of the news of Gord's passing. I knew Gord from school as well. I didn't know him that well but he hung out with some friends that I knew. In saying that and seeing previous condolences given from these friends from way back when, I'm pretty sure Gord was a nice guy and fun to be around. I think quiet though and sometimes those are the ones that have a terrific sense of humor. Somehow I am remembering that he and my dad knew each other from Bronx Park. The good ol hockey days! If I am correct or not, I wish everyone who knew Gord my condolences. Hello, and goodbye for now. Gord and I were best buds in the day. We shared musical interests and the party scene. We shared a great number of adventures. Going to Minneapolis in October 1974 to see David Bowie was the ultimate. I rue that I have not had any contact with Gord for some time. See ya pal - Posted by: Bob Miller (Friend) on: Nov 03, 2019

I hadn't seen Gordie in a long time. You leave school and loose track of some people. I looked at the picture on Facebook and remembered a good guy that had a good sense of humor and that I never had a harsh word with. We weren't close but spent a lot of time in the same places. I am saddened at his early departure and I offer my condolences to his family and close friends. - Posted by: Scott Miner (Friend) on: Nov 02, 2019

We were surprised and sad to hear about Gord's passing. Although we hadn't seen him for years, it brings back fond memories of the days we all lived north of Winnipeg on Henderson Highway....parties, snowstorms and Gord's Jeep. Good times! Farewell old friend - hope you're resting comfortably. - Posted by: Alison & Jim Steele (Old friends) on: Nov 02, 2019
