ANNE PENSTON
(nee MACDOUGALL)
September 24, 1927 - October 29, 2019

Anne passed away, with family by her side, at the Moncton City Hospital. Anne was the youngest of five born to Dan and Eliza MacDougall.
She was predeceased by her husband William (Bill), of 67 years, and her siblings, Donald MacDougall, Kay Nuttall, Margaret Langford and Helen Popham.
She is survived by her four children, Nancy St. Germain (Roger) of Ontario, Shirley Smith (Steve) of New Brunswick, Barb Giroday (Wayne) of British Columbia and Ron Penston (Nancy LeBlanc) of New Brunswick. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Mom was born and raised in Winnipeg and married in 1947. In 1964 the family moved to Montreal, and on retirement moved to Niagara Falls, ending up in Moncton in 2008.
Anne enjoyed curling, bowling, playing bridge and travelling. Mom and Dad had many great memories of holidays in Barbados, travels in Europe, and the States.
Special memories were created when many family members gathered to celebrate her 90th birthday in 2017.
The family would like to thank the staff at both Peoples Park Tower and Briarlea on Ryan, also Dr. Breau for their great care and attention.
A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
