  • Wow... what a great guy! Friendly, enjoyable and laughed with full gusto! Tim brought out your inner joy and life experiences that were to be enjoyed together whether over over a table or in action walking together! Photography, fishing, travel and heart relationships meant a lot to Tim. There was a depth of character in Tim that had him rejoice with those who rejoiced and weep with those who weep. Living apart from us here in his Aussie circles gave him a freshness of jibe where he would egg us on as Peggers in our austere climate! Biting wit with a sarcasm that played you like fishing for trout...reel you in and let you out for a bit.... then reel you in again! I have a beautiful photo print sent by Tim that I admired on FaceBook of the water crashing on the rocks and spray splashing so ethereally that it gave a wanton call to your heart. Tim captured people, places and objects that caught his eye and heart through his lense as he desired to share his view of our world. To eat with Tim , after he came back to Canada, was a time to remember... an experience like a smorgasborg! He enjoyed ToySun Restaurant for its buffet! Man, could we eat together! Thanks Tim for the time together and sharing some of your life with me! Nettie, Bill and family thanks for sharing your loved one with this world. Tim made it a better place to live. God bless you all, peace be yours, Gerard S-H. - Posted by: Gerard Scott-Herridge (Friend) on: Nov 05, 2019

  • I'm so sad to hear of Tim's passing. We were close friends back in the day and had a lot of great times together. Tim helped me coach the grade 7 & 8 boys basketball team @ Chief Peguis Jr High to a championship back in the 70s. As often happens we drifted apart and Tim ended up living in Australia. When he was back in Winnipeg he would call and it was great to talk to my old friend. This past summer Tim called again and I went to meet him at Tim's. We talked for hours regaling the old stories and laughing our heads off. Now it turns out that was the last time I would see Tim but I sure am glad I had that day. Tim was a great guy and will be missed by all who knew him. - Posted by: Barry Guindon (Freind) on: Nov 02, 2019
