Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes they lean on you, and sometimes its just enough to know, they are standing.” “Death brings pain that time can only heal, no words could ease what we truly feel; but with God, his joy is eternally sealed, and cherish his memories that death can’t even steal. Lift up a smile for he is already in the paradise. • So sorry on the loss of your child Hunter. - Posted by: Edward Bella (someone who cares) on: Nov 07, 2019

  • The world has lost another beautiful smile and loving child. Parents should never have to bury their children especially under the circumstances that happened. I was so deeply touched by what I had seen and heard on TV. I pray you find some solice in knowing that many people here in this city weep n cry with you for no child should ever have to fear being in his or her home. As mothers, sisters, daughters and as human beings know that we stand with you during this time of grief and loss. I am sure many have you and your family in our prayers. I am so very sorry that an innocent child yet again had to pay the ultimate price because of violence. - Posted by: URS (WINNIPEG CITIZEN) on: Nov 07, 2019

This young and innocent child should never have had happen what happened to him. Parents should not be burying a 3 year old. • We were so saddened by this little boy's tragic story. Such an adorable little fella who was just starting out in life and had so very much ahead of him. Instead, he was " taken in anger ", far too soon. Heaven has another angel as Earth misses a child who could have been anything when he grew up. RIP Sweet Hunter, you are now in God's arms and watching over all your loved ones who miss you terribly. 🙏🙏🙏 - Posted by: Randy and Dianne (Concerned Winnipeggers) on: Nov 07, 2019

Hunter was a beautiful child, and didn't deserve to leave us so soon.. however sometimes God works in mysterious ways.... my deepest condolences to his family especially his mom, that they stay strong and take care of each other….. and little man... fly free.. Heaven certainly gained another angel. - Posted by: Tammy Solleveld (community member ) on: Nov 07, 2019

  • The pain must be unspeakable. What a beautiful boy. A city will be collectively grieving for a long time over your loss. May God help you get through this and find a special place at his knee for sweetest baby Hunter. - Posted by: Alexis Lloyd (Another Mom and Grandma) on: Nov 07, 2019

  • My deepest condolences. Your tragedy is beyond comprehension. Such a beautiful child taken from you in such an ugly way. My heart breaks for you. - Posted by: Susan (Winnipeger/Mom/Grandma) on: Nov 07, 2019

  • I cannot find the words to express how tragic I think this is. That a lovely ,pure, innocent child like this had this happen to him. Children are so pure and good, and this child showed this in how at his young age he wanted to be a police man, and to help people. The only consolation in this tragic story is that this little darling boy went directly to heaven because all children because they are so pure and innocent go directly to heaven. The only consolation his mother has is that her darling little boy is now an angel. - Posted by: marianne humphreys (a winnipeger who cares) on: Nov 07, 2019
