LYNDA MARJORIE GERELUS
(MCDONALD)
October 11, 1947 - October 29, 2019

Lynda passed away at her home in Bainsville, Ontario with her family by her side.
She was predeceased by her parents, Marni and Toby.
Lynda leaves behind to mourn her loss her partner Gilles; 3 sons, Steven, Michael (Jen), and Robert (Tanya); and her grandchildren, Tatiana, Hayden, and Noah. Lynda will also be sadly missed by her siblings, Patricia (Emil), her twin brother Bill, and Roberta (David), as well as her little dog Jasper, and many nieces and nephews.
Lynda was born and raised in Winnipeg and moved to Montreal as a young wife and mother working for many years at the Head Offices of Avon Canada. After retiring from Avon, when she wasn't quilting, sewing, knitting and making teddy bears you could find Lynda out on the boat fishing, or spending the winter months with Gilles in Florida. Lynda was also an avid painter and many of her paintings can be seen adorning the walls of their home.
Lynda was a very kind and giving lady. However, although small in stature, Lynda never stepped back from making things right. The scariest words you could ever hear from Lynda were "I want to speak to your Manager".

You are no longer in pain Lynda.
You were loved and will be
missed by all who knew you.

Arrangements are being handled by Monroe and Morris Funeral Homes Ltd. in Lancaster, Ontario.

  • I was in grade school with Lynda and then at SMA with her. I am sorry to hear of her passing as I had hoped I would run into her sometime some someplace. She had been on my mind a couple of times in the last few months. May she Rest In Peace. 💞 - Posted by: Bridget McCormick (Friend) on: Nov 09, 2019
