Condolences & Memories (11 entries)

  • Gary is my hero and my inspiration. He was an icon in the world of ski instruction at Loch Lomond area in Thunder Bay and a genuine, fun guy to be around. I was a pleasure to ski with him or just meet up for coffee. He will be in my thoughts as I hit the slopes this season. He will be sadly missed. Rest in peace my friend. - Posted by: Angel Davidson (Friend & coworker ) on: Nov 22, 2019

  • I knew Gary a very long time ago. We were teenage sweethearts in Thunder Bay Ontario. He was an amazing musician, athlete, and kind- hearted friend. Family was very important to him. • I met Gary in the Summer of 1973. As a friend of his sister Holly I got a chance to work with little Joe trimming and cutting down trees. As a young man, like his father he always gave you a hard days work and never complained. He did however make me laugh a lot, and it was his own contagious laugh that would draw out the best in people. My heart goes out to Holly, Sandra, Marylyn and his Mom Helen as well as Gary’s wife and children for the loss of a man gone way too soon from our lives. Rest In Peace Gary and please say hi to Joe for me. Jack - Posted by: Jack O’Neill (Family Friend) on: Nov 14, 2019

  • I knew Gary since we were 6 years old. He was my friend, and we played in a bar band together for years in our teenage years. Our group had so much fun together and hung out together outside of playing at venues. Gary was a multitalented guy and he sure loved his wife Gwen, his sons and family. He was a friendly person to all. I extend my sincere sympathies to his wife Gwen, his sons and extended family. May Gary Rest In Peace. I pray for comfort for all his loved ones during this very difficult time. I’m so sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Lori (Jacobson) Cacciatore (Childhood friend and musician band member friend) on: Nov 13, 2019
