ALINE THERESE MCVICAR
Aline is survived by her four children, Richard, Brian, Paulette and Carol. She was married to Alan for 34 years. Aline had four brothers and five sisters: Lucien, Eugene, Gérard, Paul, Evelyne, Marguerite, Léonne, and two surviving sisters, Thérese and Claire.
Aline was blessed with six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She loved keeping in touch and knowing what they were all up to especially in school, other activities and sports. Aline loved sports and passionately listened to her Jets and Blue Bombers on the radio.
Unfortunately, Aline lost her sight completely starting in the late 1970s. She never got to see her grandchildren. She learned to read and type braille. Aline lived independently until she entered a care home five years ago.
Aline will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband in the Otterburne West cemetery. A intimate family graveside memorial will be held next summer.
Aline will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her perseverance over adversity, her constant hope for the future, her self discipline and strength to overcome, and above all her love of God and family.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made in her memory with C.N.I.B., 1080 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 3M3 or www.cnib.ca

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)
During the last number of years, Aline did everything to keep my dad Bernard Ayotte company at his care home. They had known each other in their early twenties and thirties and so when they ended up in the care home, they had plenty to talk about and reminisce. She kept my dad from feeling lonely and she always recognized my voice when I would drop in looking for dad. They both took care of each other in ways that conversation was about one’s kindness, humanity and care. Thank you Aline for all you did for dad and I am sure the two of you are already talking up a storm in heaven. - Posted by: Mona-Lynne (Friend) on: Nov 10, 2019
Augustine (mom) and Aline were great friends from Otterburne as well at Foyer Valade where they spent their last years together. In fact they said if one goes to see God the other would not be far behind. Augustine passed Oct 8 and Aline has followed less than a month behind. May you rejoice in heaven with your families and friend that left before you. I have great memories of Aline’s fresh baked buns with honey and peanut butter ❤️ My condolences to Paulette, Brian, Richard and Carole and your families. Our sincere sympathy to all of you and your families. My Mom (Nancy) and Aunt Aline had lots of good stories to share when they got together. She was a very special lady and was so proud of you all. Our thoughts are with you. Gerry and Marilyn Fender - Posted by: Gerry and Marilyn Fender (Step cousins) on: Nov 09, 2019
