February 2, 1929
Peacefully, at his home, on Thursday, November 7, 2019, Frank passed away, beloved father and grandfather, at the age of 91 years old.
Frank was predeceased by his wife Franciszka, and is survived by two daughters, Liz (Peter) and Susan (Brad), and four grandchildren, Conrad, Trent, Kalen and Shea.
Frank was a parishioner of Holy Ghost Church. Dad loved music and theatre. He loved to read poetry, historical biographies and novels. He was a story teller and loved telling jokes! Dad was fiercely independent and active. He enjoyed the outdoors (camping, gardening, walking and bike riding) and will especially be remembered for being an incredible cook! We will miss his delicious soups and weekly dinners!
Dad loved his family and was extremely proud of his grandsons. They were the light of his life. He often shared how happy he was watching them grow into kind and caring young men. We will all miss him greatly.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery.

Frank was a very sweet and wonderful man and neighbour. We lived beside him since 2005. He had many stories about growing up, his family, and his wife. We were in disbelief of how active and independent he was even in his 80s and 90s. He would often bike ride and garden in the summers. Even in the winter, he would keep busy in his garage and yard. We do not know anyone who was as sharp and active as he was at his age. He always had an optimistic and easy going outlook on life. He will be dearly missed but we are glad that he can now join his beloved wife in heaven. - Posted by: Karen and Nap (Neighbours) on: Dec 11, 2019
