TREVOR HAROLD SHIRTLIFF
August 6, 1958 November 8, 2019
Born the fifth child of Harold and Maisie Shirtliff, he is survived by his seven siblings; Daryl, Nancy, Penny, Tanis, Mary Anne, Collin, and Nadene.
Trevor grew up on the family farm in Starbuck, Manitoba and attended school in Elie, Manitoba. After high school he obtained his pilots license, studied mechanical drafting at RRCC, and joined the navy where he served on the HMCS Huron as a radar technician. The following years saw Trevor begin a career in marketing and sales, he started his own photography business, and later a printing business. In 2008, he launched Market Zone Productions, which grew to become a successful publisher of magazines and periodicals.
Trevor was very devout in his Christian faith and very active in his church community. He was very involved with the youth groups in his church and had a soft heart for young people with challenges in their lives. He organized many excursions for the young people, usually centered on getting out in nature.
Trevor suffered from cardiac health issues and diabetes for the last 12 years. He was working at being more active, spending his free hours walking, biking, roller-blading, and cross-country skiing. He loved the outdoors and spent many hours on horseback, finding great solace in nature.
The family will gather informally on Sunday, November 17, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Bridges Golf Course, and invite their extended family and neighbours to join them, to share memories and reminisce.

Trevor was kind and generous He always was thoughtful to others especially me and my 6 children He would do anything to help us in need and we would go on trips to see his horses and take my children skiing in the winter he even took us in when we were homeless and drove my kids to school everyday He always encouraging ,edifying and loved the lord we always went to power and praise at Church Of The Rock and moved us out to home so many times and never asked for anything in return to pay him back he always said its a blessing. Im truly going to miss him but I know that I will see him again one day in heaven I never met any of his family but he was family to me like a spiritual father and a angel on earth 😇 - Posted by: Amanda Flett (Christian friend ) on: Dec 06, 2019
Trevor gave me my first opportunity to be published right out of university. He was always kind and very easy to work for. We shared a passion for the outdoors. He is missed. - Posted by: Alison Zenisek (A writer at Market Zone Productions) on: Dec 05, 2019
I knew Trevor as a young man. I remember he was bright and fun filled. As I read about his life I could see that he had lived up to his gifts. To be a pilot is a demanding task. To care for others and especially for youth show that he believed in the future of the next generation. I am proud to have known Trevor.
