ERNEST JOHN (JACK) MCNICHOL
May 10, 1925 - November 6, 2019
Dad is also survived by his two grandchildren, Trevor (Shawna) and Travis; and his seven great-grandchildren, Kohen, Broden, Ephrium, Logan, Connor, Ben and Isabella.
Dad was a veteran of the Second World War as a member of the Canadian Air Force. When he returned home from service, he married the love of his life (Joan). They lived happily together for over 65 years until Joan's passing in 2015. Dad was a career employee of the Manitoba Telephone System. Jack and Joan enjoyed the outdoors and spent much of their spare time at their summer cottage at the lake.
Jack's family was the great joy in his life and his passing leaves a great void in our hearts.
A private graveside ceremony will be held at a future date.
Goodbye my family, my life has passed.
I loved you all to the very last.
Weep not for me, but courage take.
Always continue to love one another,
for my sake.
For those you love don't go away.
They walk beside you every day.
