FRANK HUGH OWEN
June 26, 1923 - November 11, 2019
This wonderful man left this world on November 11, 2019. Though we know "Pop" is safe in the arms of Jesus, no words can express the grief, sorrow and pain we have in our hearts.
We are very grateful for the many wonderful and treasured years we spent with the dearest, kindest and most generous man we have ever known.
Frank was predeceased by his daughter Debbie. He leaves to mourn his two sons, Victor (Susan/ Larry) and Bruce (Linda); grandchildren, Lesley (Phillip), Dean, Carly (Chris) and Madisson (Jason); great-grandchildren, Austin, Ivy, Thomas and Hunter; and very close friend Margaret Gelley; along with his children's mother, Nora.
Frank was extremely independent and still lived on his own at 96. He recently decided that it was time to hand in his driver's licence just a few weeks ago. Frank loved his family and cherished every moment he spent with them. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the love of his life. He was so proud of them and of their many accomplishments. Frank loved to cook for his family (we will miss our weekly family dinner visits). He also loved to sing and play his harmonica for anyone who was willing to listen. He also loved to curl, golf, putter in his garden and bowl with his many bowling buddies. He was our rock. We will miss his mentorship, guidance, smiles, hugs and love. We miss you so much already Pop!
We would like to thank the Health Sciences Centre for their wonderful care and support.
Please join us to help celebrate Frank's life on Saturday, November 23 at 1:30 p.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue at Henderson Highway.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Frank's memory to the Health Sciences Centre Foundation.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)
Vic, Bruce & families: I am saddened to read in the Indian Head Wolseley News about the passing of your dad. I had such a great phone visit with him when I called to get in touch with your both about the school reunion. Hugs to you all. Victor, we send our deepest sympathies to you and your family during this difficult time. You are in our thoughts and prayers and I hope all your wonderful memories with your dad give you comfort in the days ahead. I never got the chance to meet your dad, but I heard he was a pretty awesome guy! Take care, love from The Cobb family Garth, Victoria & Mya. - Posted by: Victoria Cobb (Family friend) on: Nov 20, 2019
