I miss my grandfather's spirit. I remember getting an invitation to a friends wedding. As opposed to asking a friend to be my plus one I asked my grandpa to come with me. I had the best time just watching him. He was so full of life and truly cared about people. I learned a lot growing up from watching my grandparents and the care they invested in their children, grandchildren, and people in the community. I love and miss my grandfather. I hold on to the memories we shared with one another. For me, those memories keep him alive. I’ll see him again one day and it will be like he never left.
