I am so sorry to hear of Roy's passing. I worked with Roy for a number of years. There was never a dull moment when he was around. He was always busy fixing things, building things and just being there if you needed him. He and Flo were a match made in Heaven. In their eyes you could see they thought the Sun rose and set on each other. Heaven has gotten themselves the best Mr. Fix-it. You will be missed Roy and it was great knowing you. My Condolences to Roy's Family. - Posted by: Barb Bright (Friend) on: Nov 23, 2019

I grew up on a family farm in southern Manitoba as a neighbour to Roy McCaffrey and his family. Roy was always willing to lend a helping hand in the community. Roy had an entrepreneurial spirit. The McCaffrey farm had a barn with a hay loft that allowed entry by foot on a graded ramp. Roy used this feature to his advantage. He had the loft cleaned out in the spring and held popular barn dances there in the 1950s with live music. Roy would recruit myself and other boys in the community for work bees on his farm. I remember a summer afternoon when myself and three others were picking stones on one of Roy’s cultivated fields. He followed us riding on his tractor with the front-end loader bucket down. We deposited the stones we picked in the bucket. He kept us entertained during the afternoon with his great sense of humour. We were working in the hot sun but it was a party-like atmosphere. We always got paid for our work and it was the first money most of us ever earned. My condolences to all of the McCaffrey family and may all of you have many happy memories to comfort you at this time. - Posted by: Russell Rosen (Friend) on: Nov 23, 2019

Mr. McCaffrey was one of my favorite patients! He reminded me so much of my grandfather in his humor and mannerisms! He always brought us stuff from his garden before they moved into their condo, Then he would always bring muffins from the store. Told wonderful stories. Always put a smile on my face. Condolences to his family and friends he will be greatly missed. - Posted by: Christina (Friend) on: Nov 20, 2019
