ANNE JOBIN
July 4, 1922 - November 16, 2019
Anne was born July 4, 1922 in Lurgan County Armagh, Ireland and in May of 1927 she and her family boarded the ship "Megantic" at Belfast and crossed the mighty Atlantic to "the land of milk and honey" where they settled in St. Brides, AB. Over the years Anne worked at St. Theresa Hospital, St. Paul, AB, St. Joseph's Hospital, Edmonton, AB, St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, MB, The Grey Nun's Hospital, Regina, SK, and in 1986 retired from Tache Nursing Centre in Winnipeg, MB.
Anne was predeceased by her parents, Patrick and Frances Mallon; her brothers, Harry, Peter, Willie John; her sisters, Aileen and Frances; her husband James Leonard Jobin. Anne leaves behind her daughters, Patricia (Sheldon) Caplan, Shirley (Ernest) Verkade; her grandchildren, Marlo (Ken) Oschipok, Tamara and Aaron Caplan; her two great-granddaughters, Kayla and Mia Oschipok; and many nieces and nephews.
At Anne's request, there will be no funeral service but she will be placed to rest next to her husband at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, Winnipeg, MB.
