It is with deep regret that we announce the death of our son and brother, Jeffery Dowd. He suddenly passed away at his home in
Winnipeg, on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the age of 37 years.
He will be forever missed by his father Ken Dowd, mother Cathy Dowd (Ross), sister Eva Dowd and his four legged friends, Maisie and Poppy. He will also be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jeffery was born in Winnipeg, but called McConnel Lake, Ontario his home. When he was younger, he also lived in Vancouver for two years and Calgary for six years. He loved spending time at the cottage, picking blue-berries, swimming, cooking and taking his pups for walks. Jeffery was a true caregiver and made sure everyone he loved was well
taken care of. He had a great sense of
humour and made sure his family laughed all the time.
A small memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Boulevard for friends and family. Casual dress please.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jeffery's name to the Winnipeg Humane
Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB
