WILLIAM EDWARD DAY
Bill was born in Winnipegosis, MB on December 24, 1934. Dad's love for music, nature and wood art, be it building or pruning trees, were always evident. He would fill a room with laughter with his many antics, but foremost was Dad's love for his family. There wasn't a place in their home that hadn't been taken over by family photos. His grand and great-grandkids were his world, and each of them knew this. He left us with wonderful memories, and many a song in our hearts.
Cremation has taken place and the family will celebrate both parents at a later date.

So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. My dad would always talk about Bill and Rosemarie. I think Richard talked to Bill on the phone many times a week as he would get me to dial the number for him sometimes. He was always mailing out packages to BC when they lived there. They were friends for years and he will be missed by Richard as he looked forward to talking to Bill every day. They didn't see each other much in these last years--as health prevented Richard from doing what he used to. I know he will be missed by Richard very much. Our thoughts are with your family. - Posted by: Richard Barbour--posted by daughter Carol Barbour (long time friend) on: Nov 23, 2019

Dad had a certain charm and contagious smile that warmed the hearts of anyone who crossed his path. He taught me how to laugh at myself, but more importantly, how to play the spoons at a young age.(smile here). I’ll always be grateful he showed me how to appreciate and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. - Posted by: Kathy baydock (Daughter) on: Nov 23, 2019

Mr. Billy as I would always call him was a joy to be around. We always had good laughs with him and enjoyed both Rosemary and Mr. Billy's company. Our prayers and condolences are with each of you. - Posted by: Sharon and Dave Giesbrecht (Former Caretakers Westwood House) on: Nov 23, 2019
