Almost a year later, I’m just learning of Grant’s passing. He handled my separation seven years ago. Today, I needed to get in touch with him, googled him to get his office number and his obituary popped up. I’m shocked to say the least. Grant and I worked together for almost a year and a half on my file. It was an extremely difficult, and very sad time in my life. Grant was always patient and kind to me. Although he took the matter seriously, he always brought some levity to our conversations. I always felt as though he really cared. By the end of it all, he almost felt like more of a friend than just my lawyer. I was really looking forward to catching up with him. I am very sad to learn of his passing. Although it’s been almost a year, I want to offer my condolences to his loved ones. - Posted by: Coral (Former Client ) on: Nov 05, 2020

Grant was such an incredible person. Although we were not close, he always made me feel like a dear friend when we would run into each other. He always seemed genuinely interested in how I was doing, and I looked forward to the possibility of running into him at the dog park or at a show. He will be missed dearly, his presence in the music scene of Winnipeg was like a breath of fresh air as he was always so warm and friendly and fun. He threw the best parties I have ever been to, those memories I will hold dearly in my heart. I spoke often to friends about how much Bass Invaders meant to me, and I wish I had expressed those feelings to him. I love you Grant, I will forever remember your smile and your laugh. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Lauren (Friend) on: Dec 08, 2019

I am so very sorry to hear of Grant's passing. While I only met him a few times through a mutual friend (Adam). He was always so, so very nice and warm, welcoming, relaxed and fun to be around. I know his passing will be felt by so many people and my heart just aches for all those who knew and loved him. When we were in our early 20's Grant and I were close friends. He was the most sincere, generous, caring person. When I was struggling or sad Grant was always there for me. I always felt safe with him. He always made me laugh, we always had fun together no matter what we did. He had so much going for him, he's in a better place now. May he rest in peace. 🙏🥺 - Posted by: Hayley (Old friend) on: Nov 23, 2019

Grant was such a fair person. He was open-minded and treated all people equally. He did not judge people for being different. I have always had mad respect for Grant! He was so kind. And man could he throw a great party! My heart will always have an ache in it knowing Grant is gone from our world. You were the best buddy!
