MARVIN JOHN HARDER
He was adopted at birth into the loving home of John and Kathryn Harder. He attended school in Winnipeg and completed his schooling at a vocational school getting a diploma in forestry. He went on to work for many years at the City of Winnipeg's Planning, Property & Development Department.
Marvin had a ready smile and enjoyed conversing with anyone who would listen. He was a member of Central Alliance Church in his earlier years and more recently Morrow Gospel Church. He really enjoyed his connection with the church community and he loved to sing the old hymns!
Marvin is survived by sisters, Lori (George) Korman, Meryl (Don) Matchullis and Jodi (JP) Harder-Lafontaine, and brother-in-law Rudi Unrau, also many nieces and nephews. He was predecessed by parents, John and Kathryn Harder, stepfather Cornelius Harder, brother Daryl, sister Jean Unrau, and nephew Kevin Matchullis.
Gilbert Funeral Home (Selkirk) was in charge of cremation. Interment will take place on Friday, December 6 at St. Vital Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Memorial reception will be held on Saturday, December 7 at Morrow Gospel Church (755 St. Annes Road) at 2:00 p.m.

My thoughts & prayers are with your families at this time on the loss of your brother & uncle. I got to know Marvin while I was attending Morrow Gospel Church many years ago. He always had a smile for everyone & enjoyed helping others. May he rest in peace with His Saviour Jesus Christ. - Posted by: Margaret Martin (Friend from Morrow Gospel Church) on: Nov 30, 2019
