  • Dearest Robbie, Melina, Cyndi and Families, On behalf of the four of us, Rick Lynda Joel and myself, I regret that we are unable to attend Gertie’s service. Gertie, There isn’t a day that goes by without a thought of You. The thought of Your smile, hearing Your voice as we replay the videos, the golf cart ride, You being Rachael Ray making Carmen’s Caper, the times when You included us to celebrate life with You in the last two years and longer. Now reviewing all the pictures, we see Your happiness and love for everyone, while You endured such pain. For this we say Thank You, for this has made us stronger. To live each day with love and to enjoy every moment with our loved ones. To never take life for granted, live for the moment and well, shop Wayfair 😇. So when our time comes, we can use The strength You shared with us to get through our tough days. Thank You Gertie. ❤️Beautiful inside and out, we are Blessed that we had You, this remarkable woman in our lives. You will live on in our memories and in our hearts, the “Big C” can never take that away from us. Gertie, when we are having one of those days, all we have to do is stop for a moment, remember something you said, did or hear the sound of your laugh in our minds, we know that will help get us through anything. Yes, You are Loved and Missed. It would be selfish for us to want You back here to continue in such pain. We just hope that when our time comes, You will greet us with your gentleness, Your hugs and a free pass through the pearly gates. We Love You Gerts. - Posted by: Joel Judi Fournier Lynda Rick Smith (Family/Friends) on: Dec 13, 2019

  • We are very sorry for your loss. Gertie and I were high school friends. She was a wonderful person. She was thoughtful of others and a lot of fun. Although I lost touch with Gertie many years ago, I remember the good times we had along with her brother Alain and his wife, Denise. You are in our prayers. - Posted by: Rose Desrochers Emond (School friend) on: Dec 07, 2019
