VINCENT NORRIS

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our father Vincent Norris. Vince passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2019 at St. Boniface Hospital.
Vince had a zest for life and many friends with whom he enjoyed spending time, whether relaxing at his campsite at Greatwoods or attending Jazz concerts at local venues around the city. He loved being active, checking out new restaurants and window shopping with friends and family.
Vince is survived by his two children, Shelly (Trevor) and Jason; his sisters, Colleen and Audrey; nephew Colin; and granddaughter Jadie.
Vince enjoyed a successful career as a realtor for over 40 years and had many colleagues and friends in that industry.

He will be greatly missed.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to CancerCare Manitoba would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you to the doctors and staff at St. Boniface Hospital who took great care of him in his final moments.

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I met Vince selling new homes for Qualico/Broadview. We sold some homes together in River Park South and he taught me many sales lessons (and other lessons lol) that I will never forget. I was just recently made aware of his passing and wanted to say he was simply one of the good guys. RIP Vince, I still think of you when I see a Buick Riviera or Chevy Astro van. I will remember your stories about Brooklands Speedway, "the Wood" and talking engines "flat tops" all while chewing on some gum. My best to the family. - Posted by: Derek Roth (Friend) on: Feb 11, 2020

  • Vince aka The Vincent. You are so missed. There truly is no one like Vince. He was sooo kind and I cannot tell you how many times he showed me photos of his granddaughter. He was proud of his family. He talked about raising them, being with them at every possible moment as they were growing up. I have the same job he did, working very long hours 6 days a week, no weekends free. He NEVER complained and if I ever did, he said put your big girl panties on! He REALLY was someone you describe as having a twinkle in his eye and very lovely blue eyes, at that. When I took the ever so rare holiday, Vince worked in my show home for me and always left details about visitors. the other think he left were flowers. A huge bouquet in the middle of my desk. Multi coloured and such a surprise! We talked about living with our sisters - sounds like a great and close relationship. He loved you, Colleen. I live in the lower level, like he did. I however, do not have a TIKI Bar!! We miss this guy so much. He had presence and class and the kindest heart ever. there just arent enough words. My deepest sympathies to his beloved family and many friends. You were a joy to know, Vincenzo xo - Posted by: Debra Mosher (Friend and colleague) on: Feb 04, 2020
