Condolences & Memories (1 entries)
I am very saddened by your mom's passing but even more so that I didn't know that she was in Golden Links for the last 16 months. It is a short distance from my house and I could have been visiting her. Losing track of people is sad. I met your mom in about 1995 and we were instant friends. She was visiting someone in Kamsack and my mom and I were visiting the same person. Your mom needed to get a copper boiler to Winnipeg so I offered to bring it back for her. She signed her 'Patchwork Pieces' For Sharon of the 'Copper Boiler Express'. We both lived in East Kildonan at the time and I visited her several times at her house and eventually life has a way of moving on and we lost track of each other. She was a genuine, gifted and intelligent person whom I admired and had the privilege of knowing. My sincere condolences to you all.
